About Us

Welcome to Johns Hopkins Endocrine Surgery

The Endocrine Surgery Division includes a team of endocrine surgeons, endocrine surgery fellows, nurse practitioners and researchers who are dedicated to providing excellent care for patients with hyperparathyroidism, thyroid tumors, adrenal tumors, pancreatic islet cell tumors and Gastrointestinal Neuroendocrine Tumors.  Along with providing patient care, we also perform clinical and molecular biology research.

Our missions are: 
     1) to advance our understanding and treatment of endocrine surgical diseases; 
     2) to educate patients, endocrinologists and endocrine surgeons; and
     3) to train endocrine surgery fellows in the field of endocrine surgery.

Clinical Practice:
Thyroid surgery
Cervical lymph node dissection
Parathyroid surgery (including minimally invasive)
Adrenal surgery (including laparoscopic)
Pancreatic islet cell surgery (including laparoscopic)
Gastrointestinal Neuroendocrine Tumors

Research program:
Molecular markers of thyroid cancer
