Responsible Conduct of Research

All investigators should become familiar with the School of Medicine's Rules and Guidelines for Responsible Conduct of Research.  Included are topics such as supervision of students and trainees, data gathering and retention, authorship, and publication.  Adherence to the rules and guidelines will protect an investigator and his/her laboratory in the event that there are questions of research integrity.

Similarly, the SOM Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) Program is designed to educate individuals who participate in research at the SOM on topics that help to prevent research misconduct and sustain the core values of the institution.
