Congratulations to Kirill Gorshkov, 4th year graduate student in the laboratory of Dr. Jin Zhang, for becoming the Vice President of the 2015 MedImmune Mid-Atlantic Summit executive planning committee. The aim of this meeting is to bring together young research pioneers with leaders in academia, NIH/FDA, bio-pharmaceutical industries, and policy makers to inspire scientific leadership, grow our regional bio-economies, and challenge each other through discussions and seminars.

Young Investigator's Day Awards
Congratulations to Robert Newman (Jin Zhang's Lab) for winning The A. McGehee Harvey Research Award, Vedangi Sample (Jin Zhang's Lab) for winning The Bae Byo Jung Award, and Mary Katherine Tarrant (Philip Cole's Lab) for winning the Alicia Showalter Reynolds Award. Robert, Vedangi, and Mary Katherine are among other School of Medicine trainee researchers who will be recognized at this year's 35th celebration of Young Investigators' Award program on Friday, April 13, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. in the Mountcastle Auditorium.
