• Johns Hopkins Project Restore has been an invaluable and continuous sponsor of the activities of clinical and research endeavors of the JHTMC.

• The Transverse Myelitis Association (TMA), and its president Sandy Siegel, has been a vital resource of the JHTMC. Since the inception of our center in 1999, the TMA has facilitated interactions with TM patients and their families to guarantee appropriate diagnosis and management.
  
• The Guthy-Jackson Charitable Foundation has supported research efforts for clinical studies and investigational research focused on Neuromyelitis Optica (NMO), a very challenging and very rare subgroup of transverse myelitis.
