Who We Are

The Johns Hopkins Hospital Sleep Disorders Center is comprised of an interdisciplinary team of health care providers including pulmonologists, neurologists, psychologists, anesthesiologists and otolaryngologists, who are all board-certified in their own specialty and most of whom are board certified or board-eligible in sleep medicine. The Johns Hopkins Hospital Sleep Disorders Center is fully accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.

The Johns Hopkins Hospital Sleep Disorders Center strives to provide outstanding clinical care for all patients with a wide variety of sleep disorders, as well as education for patients and their families, other physicians and physicians-in-training. The unique, interdisciplinary approach of the Johns Hopkins Hospital Sleep Disorders Center provides patients with expert consensus on individualized diagnoses and management options that may include follow-up respiratory tests, additional neurological work-ups, or cognitive/behavioral therapy. Our sleep-trained neurologists are equipped to address sleep complaints related to other neurological conditions, including epilepsy, stroke, headache, and multiple sclerosis. Furthermore, our psychologists have specific expertise in treating insomnia with techniques other than sleep medications.

The physicians of the Johns Hopkins Hospital Sleep Disorders Center are also involved in numerous research studies to improve our understanding of the mechanisms, diagnosis and treatments for sleep disorders.
