The Johns Hopkins Multiple Sclerosis Center is a multidisciplinary center focused on the evaluation and treatment of patients with multiple sclerosis.
The center offers clinical evaluations for new patients, a full range of diagnostic testing (MRI and other imaging techniques, evoked potentials, neuropsychological testing, and lumbar puncture services), long-term patient care including all available treatment options, and comprehensive referral services (ophthalmology, urology, physical medicine & rehabilitation, psychiatry, acute and chronic pain management, and social work services).
The Neurology faculty who staff the Hopkins MS Center also conduct clinical and basic science research related to MS and the pathogenetic mechanisms which may underlie the disease.
