Student Ambassadors
The Ataxia Center student ambassadors are a group of college students who are very interested in ataxia and its effects on the individual and her/his family. This group assists the ataxia center by raising awareness, volunteering at events, and participating in various ways to assist those suffering from the disease while learning more about ataxia. They gain information by meeting with patients and their families, observing in clinic and participating in ataxia chapter events. The “ataxia student ambassadors” also is a recognized Johns Hopkins University organization.
