The Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Center

The Movement Disorders Center at Johns Hopkins provides comprehensive, compassionate and timely treatment to our patients. Our excellence in treating, researching and teaching about these disorders allows us to provide the best care for all our patients.

Movement Disorders can be relentlessly progressive and disabling conditions. Untreatable a mere fifty years ago, there has been steady progress in the treatment of these conditions since. Recent advances in our understanding of the mechanisms of these disorders have lead to tremendous progress in treatment – both medical and surgical. Our ever expanding team and facilities are committed to advancing this progress and achieving our mission of improving the lives of patients suffering from these disorders.
