This organization is dedicated to assisting individuals of all abilities and their families in achieving their personal goals and in reaching their maximum potential.

Carson Harris Foundation
The family of Carson Harris, one of Dr. Kossoff’s patients treated with the ketogenic diet first, has set up a website for their foundation which helps raise money to support pediatric epilepsy at Johns Hopkins.

The Epilepsy Foundation will ensure that people with seizures are able to participate in all life experiences and will prevent, control and cure epilepsy through research, education, advocacy and services.

Epilepsy Foundation of the Chesapeake Region
The Epilepsy Foundation of the Chesapeake Region (EFCR) works with Abilities Network to serve the entire Baltimore/Washington/Northern Virginia area, helping everyone to better understand and live with epilepsy. EFCR provides information and referrals, education, advocacy, assistance with medical issues, support groups, scholarships and provider agencies.
