Scheduling Skin Punch Biopsies at Johns Hopkins

Cutaneous nerve/skin biopsies are performed at both The Johns Hopkins Hospital (JHH) in the Johns Hopkins Outpatient Center, and at The Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center (JHBMC), conveniently located near exits from I-95 and I-895.

To schedule your patient for biopsies at one of these locations, please complete both the referral form and appropriate biopsy requisition form for JHH or JHBMC. If you have no preference as to location where biopsy is performed, please complete the JHBMC requisition form.

Our staff will obtain insurance authorization, schedule the patient for biopsy, and contact your office and the patient with appointment information. After the biopsy has been completed, you should receive the report in one to two weeks.
