How is a metastatic brain tumor diagnosed?
In addition to a complete medical history and physical examination, a patient might undergo a series of diagnostic procedures. Follow the links below to learn more about specific diagnostic procedures.
- Physical exam: including questions about the patient’s symptoms, personal and family health history, physical exam, and tests of vision, and reflexes.
- Neurological exam
- Computed tomography scan (also called a CT or CAT scan)
