Shaan Raza, M.D.

Dr. Raza received his medical degree from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 2006. He is currently a Resident in the Department of Neurosurgery at The Johns Hopkins Hospital.

His clinical interest includes neuro-oncology and, specifically, approaches to skull base tumors.

Dr. Raza’s current research interests include developing/assessing new surgical techniques through the department’s skull base/microsurgery laboratory, and assessing surgical outcome measures. Starting July 2010, he will join the Brain Tumor Stem Cell Laboratory where his research will focus on brain metastases.
