Ignacio Jusué-Torres, MD

Co-Director, Neuro-Oncology Surgical Outcomes Laboratory

Dr. Ignacio Jusué-Torres received his medical degree from the Universitat de Barcelona in 2006 and finished his Neurosurgical training at the Hospital Universitario de Getafe (Madrid) in May 2012. He joined the lab in July 2012 and is currently the co-director of the Neuro-Oncology Surgical Outcomes Laboratory.

His clinical interests include neuro-oncology;  specifically, the surgical treatment of gliomas and pituitary tumors.

Dr. Jusué-Torres' current research projects include:

• Volumetric analysis of extent of resection impact in gliobastoma’s outcomes
• Volumetric analysis of brain mapping impact in extent of resection
• Prospective study of correlation of clinical and volumetric changes in non-surgical management of brain tumors.

Dr. Jusué-Torres is currently supported by the Rafael del Pino Foundation scholarship for postgraduate studies
