Hometown: Dearborn, MI

Medical School: University of Louisville School of Medicine

For fun I: run with my dog, watch bad TV with my husband, test out new recipes, explore my new city!

Favorite things about Baltimore: The harbor! I have always been landlocked, so walking/running around the harbor still makes me feel like I'm on vacation! Also, the city is constantly surprising me. There are so many different neighborhoods, parks, and attractions to explore. I love that you can experience the big city feel of downtown, the touristy hustle and bustle of the inner harbor and the charm of the neighborhoods, with cute corner cafes and freindly neighborhood parks, all within the same day (or in a single car ride home from St Agnes!).

Career Interests:  Chronic disease management; patient-centered medical home/multidisplinary patient care; novel models of delivery of primary care (e.g., group medical visits, use of community health workers); lifelong primary care for patients with congenital /genetic diseases.
