Living With Cancer Resource Program

Live Well

Come hear the latest information on nutrition, breast cancer survivorship, and sexuality and intimacy. This will include brief presentations and audience Q&A. Following this program, we will offer a Serenity Flow class that will incorporate gentle seated yoga poses, breath work, and relaxation techniques.

Survivorship and Advanced Cancer

Join palliative care expert Dr. Sydney Dy to discuss how patients and families can thrive after an advanced cancer diagnosis. This webinar will address:

  • Some common symptoms to watch out for and how to approach them if they come up
  • Services and resources that may be available to you and your family
  • Ideas for communicating about difficult issues
  • Thinking about values and goals and what's important to you


This webinar is FREE and open to all patients, caregivers, family members, and medical providers. Pre-registration is required. There will be time for live Q&A after the presentation.

Surviving Survivorship: Living with Cancer

This free conference is designed to address your unique needs, as a cancer survivor or caregiver.  Lunch will be served at noon and will include inspiring words from Matt Norvell, who survived and thrived after treatment for renal cell carcinoma in his 20’s.  A choice of interactive workshops designed specifically for patients and their caregivers will complete the afternoon.  Make plans to join us!

Caregiver Café

Are you taking care of or supporting someone with cancer? You are invited to our Caregiver Café to relax, meet other caregivers and ask your questions. Just stop by on Thursdays from 11-12 in the Weinberg 5th floor waiting area across from the visitor elevators. No reservations needed. All caregivers welcome.

Ask The Expert

The Patient Education Series, Ask the Expert, is an opportunity for patients, families, staff and visitors to ask questions and receive handouts on a given topic. No reservations are needed. All programs will be held in the 1st floor Weinberg Lobby.
