Educational Focus: Dr. Goldberg is a member of the Educational Policy Committee for the medical and graduate programs at Johns Hopkins, is a member of the Curriculum Review Committee, a group of individuals responsible for reviewing and refining the curriculum at the School of Medicine and is a managing board member of the Institute for Excellence in Education (IEE), JHUSOM.
Recognition: In recognition for his achievements in education and educational technology, Dr. Goldberg has been named by Apple an Apple Distinguished Educator.
Research Focus: His interests center on the development of virtual learning systems to enhance science education for undergraduate and medical students. Over the past several years he has received funding from the National Science Foundation, the Whitaker Foundation, The Howard Hughes Medical Institute, and the National Institute of Health in support of his work.
