Employee Health & Wellness Center

Not feeling well? Get the care you need quickly so you can return to work sooner. The Employee Health & Wellness Center offers free walk-in visits and appointments for non-emergency, non-work related illnesses and musculoskeletal injuries, including:

  • colds
  • cough
  • influenza
  • sore throat
  • sinus problems
  • rash
  • upset stomach
  • fever
  • sprains
  • strains

Our team of nurse practitioners, registered nurses and support staff provides referrals, limited lab services, and treatment of illnesses, including prescriptions.

NOTE: Services are for benefit-eligible employees of JHH or JHHSC. If you are going to the Center during work hours you must first report to work and have your supervisor sign and complete the Employee Health and Wellness Authorization Form.

Occupational health services

We offer vaccinations and tuberculosis screenings for current employees. Please visit Phipps 351 for info. These and all other occupational health services are also available at the Occupational Health Services (OHS) office, located at the Church building, 98 North Broadway, Suite 421. New employees are required to visit OHS for all new-hire related health screenings.

Location and hours

Phipps building, 3rd floor

We’re open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Extended hours on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5 p.m. to 8p.m.

To avoid potentially long waits we recommend making an appointment or calling before you go to check on wait time.

To make an appointment, please call 410-614-1620.

For emergent conditions, such as chest pain or shortness of breath, please report immediately to the Adult Emergency Room.
