George Lab

The George lab’s area of inquiry is the development and implementation of novel imaging modalities for the diagnosis of cardiovascular disease.

This includes the development and implementation of CT myocardial perfusion imaging, hybrid imaging and the development of novel molecular imaging techniques using radionuclide imaging. We are engaged in several preclinical studies and clinical trials implementing combined CT angiography, perfusion, and viability imaging in patients at risk for coronary artery disease and patients at risk for sudden cardiac death.
