Cardiac Structural & Functional Assessments using Three-Dimensional Transesophageal Echocardiographic Imaging

Summary of Trial: 

The purpose of this study is to obtain 3D images of the heart that can be used to build computer programs that may help cardiac surgeons improve their ability to repair certain heart defects in the future.

All patients 18 years and over undergoing cardiac surgery

Exclusions: 

Any contraindications for insertion of the TEE probe (e.g., history of esophageal stricture, scleroderma, etc.)
