Assistant Professor
Dr. Althaus graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a B.A. in General Arts and Sciences in 1990, then went to medical school at Michigan State University’s College of Human Medicine. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, CT in 1994, then went into private practice before specializing in maternal fetal medicine. She completed her fellowship studies at Johns Hopkins in 2005. Her research interests include nutrients in pregnancy, medical ethics, and the distribution and allocation of scarce resources.
