The Johns Hopkins Fibroid Center at Greenspring Station was established with the purpose of coordinating research about this common gynecologic condition and offering a wide array of treatment options, including alternatives to hysterectomy.

Multidisciplinary Fibroid Clinic

The Johns Hopkins Fibroid Center offers a Multidisciplinary Fibroid Clinic. Evaluations for fibroid patients will include comprehensive, simultaneous consultations with Dr. Stacey Scheib from Gynecology and Dr. Kelvin Hong from Interventional Radiology.

This clinic is available to a select group of patients. Those patients selected will be evaluated by both physicians and an individualized treatment plan to treat and manage their fibroids will be created.
