Our Approach

Our physicians in the division of Gynecologic Specialties serve a local, regional and international patient population, with a large portion comprised of referrals from general gynecologists.

While routine gynecologic care is offered, physicians also have strong interests and experience in evaluating and treating patients for:

• Infectious diseases (HIV)
• Abnormal PAP smears
• Endometriosis
• Uterine fibroids
• Chronic pelvic pain
• Vulvar diseases
• Urogynecology

We also offer:

• Advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery
• Alternatives to hysterectomy
• Menopausal medicine

Mission Statement: To advance women's health by providing women and their physician's with clinical expertise in aspects of gynecology that are not universally available, to increase the availability of this expertise through training programs, and to enhance this care through well designed research.
