The Chronic Disease Informatics Program

The Chronic Disease Informatics Program (CDIP) at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine focuses on the development and evaluation of new computer technologies aimed at improving the management of patients with chronic health conditions. Interactive multimedia education, patient monitoring and disease management, and data mining and outcome analysis are major areas in which computer technologies have been successfully utilized for primary and secondary preventions of chronic health conditions.
