GIM Faculty Members Author Article in New England Journal of Medicine
Drs. Don Martin, William Schlott, and John Flynn of the GIM faculty are the authors of an article published in the November, 1, 2007 issue of the New England Journal of Medicine. Their article, entitled “No Respecter of Age,” appears as the “Clinical Problem-Solving” feature in NEJM. This feature describes an actual patient’s case in stages, with an expert clinician responding by describing his or her reasoning at each step of the way. In this case, the patient is a 65-year-old woman with polyarthritis of recent onset.
