Primary Care and Health Services Research Training Program

This training program is funded by a National Research Service Award (NRSA) from the Health Services and Resources Administration (HRSA). The prorgam's aim is to support the development of primary care physicians as creative and independent investigators in primary care research. It provides opportunities for junior physicians to develop research skills in study design and analytic methods, and learn how primary care may function to integrate traditional curative medicine with public health initiatives to address the major health care problems facing Americans today.

Research Training Program in Behavioral Aspects of Heart and Vascular Diseases

This training program recruits, educates, and develops independent and creative investigators in Behavioral Aspects of Heart and Vascular Diseases, a field of increasing clinical and public health importance. The program exposes pre-and post-doctoral students from relevant health professions and complementary scientific disciplines to a variety of ongoing research, and intensive mentoring by a multidisciplinary faculty committed to excellence in research training.
