Dr. Garcia was the Director of the GBMC Fertility Center for 13 years. During his directorship, the program became the largest and one of the most successful in the country by the time that he left GBMC to join the Hopkins program.
During his Directorship, he developed numerous IVF protocols for ovulation induction, and he trained many residents and fellows in reproductive endocrinology, who are now practicing IVF medicine. Additionally, Dr. Garcia has helped in the establishment of more than 30 IVF programs around the world.

Developing different ovulation induction protocols for Infertility, Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART ), In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), ovulatory disorders, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), recurrent miscarriages, fibroids, premature menopause, endometriosis, menstrual irregularities under the age of 40. Surgery related to infertility: myomectomy, hysteroscopy, laparoscopy.
