Dr Cross in Lab

Faculty in the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology are leading National Institutes of Health (NIH)-funded clinical trials to improve the success and safety of IVF, and to investigate novel treatments to improve the fertility of individuals with conditions like uterine fibroids, endometriosis, and recurrent pregnancy loss. With a focus on long-term health for individuals with infertility, funding from the Jones Foundation is supporting national studies led by the REI faculty examining the health of children conceived following specific techniques used during IVF to optimize safety. Other NIH-funded studies are examining the impact of uterine fibroids on long-term cardiovascular health.

The REI division is also supporting the next generation of fertility researchers. REI faculty are recipients of the NIH Women's Reproductive Health Research (WRHR) Career Development and Reproductive Scientist Development Program (RSDP) grant awards.
