From international health to disaster response to cardiac and infectious disease our faculty are nationally and internationally-recognized leaders in Emergency Medicine. But we are also passionate about teaching emergency medicine to residents and students. Faculty careers vary from a purely clinically-based practice at Howard County, to Ph.D. and physician researchers with all career paths in between.
Our Program Directors
The Department of Emergency Medicine has launched a new structure for its residency program administration. Changes include appointing a new program director who will oversee all aspects of the clinical and didactic features of the program. The new director is supported by two assistant program directors. Together the residency leadership will ensure residents receive the training and mentorship they need to become successful in their clinical career and academic pursuits.
Johns Hopkins Emergency Medicine residents form a diverse group that hail from around the globe. Many have been recruited from top medical schools and hold advanced degrees, including masters in science, public health, and business administration.
