Dr. Millin joined the faculty in 2004 after completing a two year fellowship in Emergency Medical Services and his MPH in Health Management and Policy.  He serves as a consulting EMS physician for the Maryland Institute for Emergency Medical Services Systems (MIEMSS), and is the National Medical Advisor for the National Ski Patrol System.  In addition, Dr. Millin is the representative from the Department of Emergency Medicine to the Johns Hopkins Trauma Performance Improvement Committee.   Dr. Millin’s academic interests include out-of-hospital cardio-pulmonary resuscitation, the development of EMS systems, emergency preparedness, and wilderness EMS.
