Following completion of his residency training, Dr. Liang was a member of the Faculty in Emergency Medicine at Lutheran General Hospital in Chicago, IL.  He joined the Hopkins faculty in 1987.  He has served as the Director of Medical Student Education and the Residency Program Director for Emergency Medicine, and is presently the Director of Business Practice and Compliance for Emergency Medicine.  Dr. Liang has a strong interest in graduate medical education, international emergency medicine, and toxicology.  He is currently an ABEM oral board examiner.
