Dr. Carlin joined the faculty in 1996 as Assistant Chief of Service after serving as Chief Resident for the 1995-1996 academic year. She left Hopkins in 1998 to pursue training in Pediatric EM at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children. She now divides her time between the Johns Hopkins Adult and Pediatric Emergency Departments. She is currently the Associate Residency Director for the Hopkins Emergency Medicine Residency Program and coordinates the Residency's comprehensive reading program.
