Dr. Fuller's professional interests include researching and developing strategies for emergency medicine process improvement and patient safety.  He is currently studying methods for capturing data to improve patient safety and enhance ED operational performance.

Dr. Fuller has broad clinical experience and worked in healthcare for 20 years.  He has training and clinical experience in allied health, public health, primary care, community practice emergency medicine, international aide relief, and management.  He is committed to advancing professionalism and service in healthcare and is a past member of the AMA’ s Council on Ethical and Judicial.

Dr. Fuller is also involved in strengthening the healthcare safety net in emergency medicine and community health.  For the past 5 years, he has served on the Board of Trustees for the State of Maryland’s largest community health care system, Baltimore Medical Systems (BMS).
