Maura McGuire, M.D.

Dr. McGuire has been at Johns Hopkins since medical school. Her research focuses on use of education to improve safety and quality of primary care, with special focus on the impact of electronic medical records and care delivery optimization. She also evaluates the use of assessment and technology to enhance learning in health care professionals and primary care physicians.

Dr. McGuire also serves as assistant dean for part-time faculty at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and is a managing board member for the School’s Institute for Excellence in Education.

Her seminar entitled Medical Myths is scheduled for Session I: (10:15 a.m. - 11:15 a.m.).
