F. Michael Gloth, III., M.D., FACP, AGSF

An associate professor of medicine in the Division of Geriatric Medicine and Gerontology at Johns Hopkins, Dr. Michael Gloth is the author of the recent book Fit at Fifty and Beyond.

A fellow in both the American College Physicians and the American Geriatrics Society, his research has appeared in numerous publications, such as the Journal of the American Medical Association and the Annals of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Gloth received his medical degree at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. After completing a residency in internal medicine at Union Memorial Hospital, he finished a fellowship in geriatric medicine and gerontology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

In addition to his position at Johns Hopkins, Dr. Gloth also serves as medical director at various Maryland-area nursing homes.

He will discuss Fit at 50 and Beyond at A Woman's Journey in Session I, 10:15 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.
