Colleen Christmas, M.D.

Dr. Christmas is assistant professor of medicine in the division of geriatric medicine and gerontology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

An author of many journal articles and book chapters, her research interests include geriatrics curriculum development and evaluation, nutrition, hip fracture outcomes in the elderly, and tube feeding procedures in patients with dementia.

Clinically, her focus is on the primary care of older adults with chronic illness, perioperative care of the elderly and general geriatrics.

Dr. Christmas came to Johns Hopkins in 1996 as a fellow and joined the faculty full time in 1999. She currently directs the internal medicine residency training program at the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.

She will discuss Blueprint for Aging at A Woman's Journey in Session II, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
