Katarzyna Macura, M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Katarzyna Macura is an authority on imaging technologies and an associate professor in the Department of Radiology and Radiological Sciences at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

Her research activities in Women’s Imaging focus on imaging technologies in the management of pelvic floor defects, urinary incontinence, and breast cancer.

She has published peer-reviewed articles and book chapters and has lectured extensively on her area of expertise.

Dr. Macura earned her medical degree and Ph.D. (Medical Informatics) from the Medical University of Lodz in Poland. She completed post-graduate medical training at the Medical College of Georgia and at the Johns Hopkins University.  

She will discuss An Insider's View at A Woman's Journey 2009 in Session II, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
