She has been invited to share her expertise at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and she regularly appears on health segments at a local television station to draw attention to issues facing older adults.
An assistant professor of medicine and associate director of transitional care research, Dr. Arbaje graduated from Yale School of Medicine and earned her master’s degree in public health at the Harvard School of Public Health. She completed her internal medicine residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital and a clinical and research fellowship in the Division of Geriatric Medicine and Gerontology at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.
