The Division of Cardiology at Johns Hopkins is committed to identifying the role of stress in heart function and determining the susceptibility of patients to this syndrome.  We feel that we are poised to be able to identify the cause(s) and the results of acute and chronic stress on the heart.  Moreover, Hopkins physicians and scientists are working to understand the role of genetics in stress cardiomyopathy. The Fund for Research in Stress Cardiomyopathy has been created to support these research efforts and to promote clinical and biomedical research of the effects of stress on the heart.

If you wish to support Stress Cardiomyopathy Research at Johns Hopkins Medicine, please make your check out to The Fund for Johns Hopkins Medicine.  The Fund for Research in Stress Cardiomyopathy should be specified on the memo line of your check. For gifts of appreciated securities and annuities, please have your broker contact the Johns Hopkins University Treasurer's Office at 443-997-8120. You may also make an Online Gift on our encrypted, secure server.  In the near future, there will be a dedicated link to stress cardiomyopathy.  However, you may denote that you wish your gift to go to the Stress Cardiomyopathy Fund by typing “stress cardiomyopathy” in the box marked “other.”

All contributions to the fund are tax-deductible. Thank you for your commitment to support Stress Cardiomyopathy research at Johns Hopkins.
