Dr. Jai Lee is an assistant professor of anesthesiology and critical care medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. His areas of clinical expertise include acupuncture and anesthesiology. He invented an endoscopic instrument, the Intuboscope, in 1997.
Dr. Lee received his undergraduate degree from Seoul National University. He earned his M.D. from the Seoul National University College of Medicine. He completed his residency at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. Dr. Lee joined the Johns Hopkins faculty in 2004.
Prior to joining Johns Hopkins, Dr. Lee was chairman of the Department of Anesthesiology at Saint Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.
Dr. Lee was recognized by Johns Hopkins with a Service Excellence Award in 2011. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the American Academy of Medical Acupuncture.
