Dr. Marie Hanna has been interested in improving acute pain management, especially after surgery and injury, since the beginning of her career as an anesthesiologist. She has been instrumental in developing numerous regional anesthesia and pain management educational programs for residents, fellows, and faculty in the U.S. and abroad.
