Administrative Fellowship Program

Johns Hopkins Medicine provides unique postgraduate training in health services management. The combination of three hospitals (The Johns Hopkins Hospital, Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, and Howard County General Hospital), multiple ambulatory care sites (White Marsh & Green Spring Station), several physician/academic group practices, and an insurance carrier (Johns Hopkins HealthCare) offers qualified graduates a unique opportunity to gain valuable work experience in a variety of healthcare delivery settings. In addition, administrative fellows are exposed to some of the planning projects for the New Clinical Buildings, one of the laregest single healthcare construction projects in the county.

The administrative fellowship is a two-year rotation-based program guided by a steering committee comprised of key leaders from throughout Johns Hopkins Medicine.  Steering committee members are committed to creating a premiere learning experience designed to create future leaders at Johns Hopkins Medicine.

The administrative fellowship requires that students graduate prior to entering the program. For those graduates more interested in a one-year experience OR for students needing a residency to fulfill graduation requirements, Johns Hopkins also offers excellent one-year opportunities:
