Sudath Hapuarachchige, Ph.D. is an Instructor of Radiology and Radiological Science, in Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Hapuarachchige obtained Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in the Department of Chemistry, University of Colombo and accomplished MS and Ph.D. in synthetic organic chemistry in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, New Mexico State University, USA. Dr. Hapuarachchige's current research is focused on (a) development of image-guided drug delivery systems in cancer therapy, (b) development of novel chemical strategies for smart controlled-release of drugs, and (c) antibody-drug conjugates for efficacious drug delivery. Dr. Hapuarachchige is the recipient of Alfred Blalock Young Investigator Award in 2015 from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
