Background
Megan Ballard is a pediatrician and fellowship trained pediatric otolaryngologist. She specializes in airway, swallowing and voice disorders, congenital neck masses, sinus disease, thyroid disorders, obstructive sleep apnea, vascular anomalies, ear surgery, hearing loss and cochlear implants. She treats infants, children and adolescents with all facets of pediatric ear, nose and throat (ENT) issues.
Dr. Ballard obtained her medical degree from the Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta. She completed a residency in otolaryngology at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami and a residency in pediatrics at New York University Langone. She also obtained fellowship training in pediatric otolaryngology at Children’s Hospital Colorado.
Her research interests include pediatric ENT health disparities, patient safety and quality improvement, hearing loss and hearing outcomes.
