This was for a check-up and Dr. Alario was open, friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. I can't think of nothing the slightist bit critical to say.

He is the absolute best! He is a great listener and explains things in a way that is easy to understand. When I talk with him, he talks to me like a friend with no arrogance which some doctors have. He makes me feel like there is no question that I can ask that is not important. I hope that he is my doctor for a long time.

Can't say enough good things about Dr. Matt. I was his last patient late on a Friday afternoon, and I expected a hurried-up session. Dr. Matthew Alario was very caring and approachable. He was a great listener.

Dr. Alario listened carefully to my issue, asked appropriately related questions and performed an exam, all the while thinking of possible explanations. He incorporated his knowledge of my current meds and their possible side effects. I think I could hear his brain in action.He also ordered the necessary test to remain on the side of caution. I felt completely secure with our decisions - he continued to offer sound advice and evidence for that. I didn't feel rushed. He made sure that I understood the plan of care and treatment. A+++

This was my first visit with Dr. Matthew Alario. I came to JHMI as a follow up from a Positive case of COVID-19. My daughter accompanied me to the visit as well. Dr. Alario was very pleasant, calm and relaxed. He introduced himsel and his background and where he studied medicine. He kept me and my daughter engaged with health questions regarding any type of ailments, prescription allergies etc. He suggested some vaccines due to my age and has suggested some overdue tests to be completed.
