Background
Durga Roy is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and the Medical Director of the Johns Hopkins Neuropsychiatry and Brain Injury Clinic. She is the Director of Education for the Johns Hopkins Psychiatry Internship and the Director for the Consult-Liaison Psychiatry Fellowship at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She is board-certified in general adult psychiatry, and consult-liaison psychiatry. Her clinical area of expertise is in the neuropsychiatric complications after traumatic brain injury. Her area of research interest focuses on the neurobiology of psychiatric symptoms after traumatic brain injury and the study of prognostic markers for neuropsychiatric sequelae after traumatic brain injury using functional neuroimaging techniques. Her educational interests focus on curricula teaching management of agitation in complex neurobehavioral syndromes in the acute medical hospital settings.
