Dr. Assil S. Saleh is a rheumatologist affiliated with Sibley Memorial Hospital. Dr. Saleh is certified in internal medicine and rheumatology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She practices out of Foxhall Internists in Washington, D.C. 

Dr. Saleh has an expertise in arthritis, vasculitis, and inflammatory and auto-immune diseases.

Dr. Saleh earned her medical degree from the United Medical and Dental Schools of Guy’s and St. Thomas’ in London, England. She completed a residency in internal medicine at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, followed by a fellowship in rheumatology. Dr. Saleh also earned her Master’s degree in public health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.  

Dr. Saleh was named a Top Doctor in the Washington, D.C. and Washington-Baltimore areas by Castle Connolly in 2012. 

Dr. Saleh’s research focuses on the relationship between cardiovascular disease and arthritis. She has contributed to numerous publications. more
