The fact that I drive at least 3 hours for sneaks with Dr. Fava speaks to how I value him as a physician. I wish I could clone him and have him as my PCP and other specialists. I'm [age] and have never had a doctor who listens as Intently, is as thorough, knowledgeable, caring and responsive as Dr. Fava. I am amazed at how quickly he responds to messages on My Chart!

Dr. Fava goes over my labs with me. He can feel when my joints in my hands are swollen. He involves me in decisions about my care. He asks me if I have questions or anything I would like to discuss with him. He usually also does a physical exam.

I was so impressed with Dr Fava. I have a complicated medical history, and he clearly spent a lot of time prior to my visit going through my records to fully understand my case and help me in the best way possible. He was very knowledgeable and had a great bedside manner. Would recommend to anyone!

Dr. Fava is the best doctor I have ever had. He is always clear with explanations, makes treatment plans, Is considerate of my needs and health and very responsive. I fully and completely trust him with my health knowing that he has my health and best interest in mind when caring for me. He is an excellent listener and always responds to questions or concerns in portal messages very quickly which helps provide answers, direction and knowledge.

I talked with his PA first, then he came in. So, I spent more time with the PA than him. I wanted a little more time with the doctor.

I am beyond grateful to have Dr Fava caring for me and helping me learn to manage my disease. His depth of knowledge about lupus is unrivaled and allows me the greatest level of comfort knowing I'm doing all I can to take the best care of myself.

The fact that I drive from Richmond, VA to Johns Hopkins for care speaks volumes of Dr. Fava. He's persistent in diagnosing and caring for his patients. He listens and asks questions; never rushes you. It's a great feeling to have a doctor who cares for his patients. I like that he responds to messages on My Chart promptly. Dr. Fava is the best physician I've had in my 78 years.
