Background
Dr. Patel specializes in critical care medicine in the cardiovascular intensive care unit (CVICU) at Johns Hopkins All Children’s. She joined the medical staff in 2020.
Dr. Patel earned her medical degree from Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine in Huntington, West Virginia. She completed her pediatric residency at Carolinas Medical Center/Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina. She then completed a pediatric cardiology fellowship at Saint Louis University/SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital in St. Louis, followed by a fellowship in pediatric cardiac intensive care at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University/Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago.
