Background
Dr. Kotula specializes in pediatric critical care medicine at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. He joined the hospital staff in 2020.
Dr. Kotula earned his medical degree from The Commonwealth Medical College in Scranton, Pennsylvania. He completed a residency in pediatrics at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, where he also served an additional year as chief resident. He then completed a fellowship in pediatric critical care medicine at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Miami.
During his fellowship, Dr. Kotula served on the hospital’s graduate medical education and bioethics committees. He received awards during his residency and fellowship training for outstanding contributions to resident education. His interests include medical education and ethics.
