Background
Dr. Gautam Siram is an orthopaedic surgeon at Sibley Memorial Hospital. He is board certified and practices out of Summit Orthopedics in Chevy Chase, MD.
Dr. Siram has an expertise in hip and knee reconstruction surgery. Dr. Siram has clinical interests in minimally invasive partial and total knee joint replacement surgery using both standard and patient specific custom instrumentation, the muscle sparing anterior approach for hip replacement with the use of the specialized Hana ® table and complex revision surgeries for hip and knee joint replacements.
Dr. Siram earned his undergraduate degree from University of Maryland, College Park and his medical degree from Mount Sinai Hospital. He completed an orthopaedic surgery residency at Howard University Hospital, followed by an orthopaedic surgery fellowship at the Anderson Orthopedic Clinic.
